Description

Make delicious chicken parmesan quickly using your air fryer.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded


Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a shallow dish, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another shallow dish, beat the egg.
  4. Dip each chicken breast in the egg, then dredge in the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring it’s fully coated.
  5. Place the coated chicken breasts in the air fryer basket, making sure not to overcrowd.
  6. Air fry for 12-15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the breading is golden brown.
  7. Top each chicken breast with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese during the last 2-3 minutes of cooking, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can add a sprinkle of fresh basil for extra flavor.
