Description
A creamy, cheesy dip with potatoes and cabbage.
Ingredients
- 1 pound Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and quartered
- 1/2 head green cabbage, cored and chopped
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Boil potatoes until tender. Drain and mash.
- Steam or boil cabbage until softened. Chop finely.
- In a pot, combine mashed potatoes, cabbage, milk, and butter. Heat gently.
- Stir in cream cheese and cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add green onions, salt, and pepper.
- Serve warm with your favorite dippers.
Notes
- Serve with crusty bread, crackers, or vegetables.
- For a spicier dip, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
