Description

Make these homemade chicken jerky treats for your dog this Valentine’s Day. They are easy to make and a healthy alternative to store-bought treats.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 170°F (or the lowest setting).
  2. Slice the chicken breasts into thin strips, about 1/8 inch thick.
  3. Place the chicken strips on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Make sure the strips are not overlapping.
  4. Bake for 2-3 hours, or until the chicken is completely dry and has a jerky-like texture.
  5. Let the treats cool completely before giving them to your dog.

Notes

  • Store the treats in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
  • Always supervise your dog when they are eating treats.
