A simple and delicious chicken dish with a creamy Asiago cheese sauce, baked to perfection.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup grated Asiago cheese
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Add chicken breasts, season with salt, pepper, and thyme, then cook for 4-5 minutes per side.
- Transfer chicken to a baking dish.
- Pour heavy cream over the chicken and sprinkle Asiago cheese on top.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of paprika or red pepper flakes.
- Substitute Asiago with Parmesan if needed.
- Serve with roasted vegetables or pasta.
