Crunchy Sweet Potato Chips

Description

Make your own crispy sweet potato chips at home.


Ingredients

  • 2 large sweet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash and scrub the sweet potatoes. Slice them thinly, about 1/8 inch thick. A mandoline slicer works well.
  3. In a bowl, toss the sweet potato slices with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread the slices in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chips are crispy and golden brown. Flip halfway through.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of garlic powder or paprika.
  • Make sure the sweet potato slices are in a single layer for even cooking.
