Description
Make your own crispy sweet potato chips at home.
Ingredients
- 2 large sweet potatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Wash and scrub the sweet potatoes. Slice them thinly, about 1/8 inch thick. A mandoline slicer works well.
- In a bowl, toss the sweet potato slices with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the slices in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chips are crispy and golden brown. Flip halfway through.
- Remove from the oven and let cool.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of garlic powder or paprika.
- Make sure the sweet potato slices are in a single layer for even cooking.
