Description
A simple and quick chicken stir fry recipe.
Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 bell pepper (any color), sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Cooked rice, for serving
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine chicken, soy sauce, and cornstarch.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken and cook until browned. Remove from skillet.
- Add onion and bell pepper to the skillet and cook until softened.
- Add garlic and broccoli, cook for 1-2 minutes.
- In a small bowl, whisk together chicken broth, honey, and sesame oil.
- Return chicken to the skillet. Pour in the sauce and cook until the sauce thickens.
- Serve over cooked rice.
Notes
- You can add other vegetables like carrots or snap peas.
- Adjust the amount of honey to your taste.
