Easy Chicken Stir Fry

Description

A simple and quick chicken stir fry recipe.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper (any color), sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Cooked rice, for serving


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine chicken, soy sauce, and cornstarch.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add chicken and cook until browned. Remove from skillet.
  4. Add onion and bell pepper to the skillet and cook until softened.
  5. Add garlic and broccoli, cook for 1-2 minutes.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together chicken broth, honey, and sesame oil.
  7. Return chicken to the skillet. Pour in the sauce and cook until the sauce thickens.
  8. Serve over cooked rice.

Notes

  • You can add other vegetables like carrots or snap peas.
  • Adjust the amount of honey to your taste.
