Description
Quick and easy shrimp toasts with garlic butter, perfect for appetizers.
Ingredients
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 slices bread, crusts removed
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cut each slice of bread into four squares.
- Toast the bread squares until golden brown.
- Chop the shrimp into small pieces.
- In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the chopped shrimp to the skillet.
- Cook the shrimp until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
- Season the shrimp with salt and pepper.
- Stir in the chopped parsley.
- Spoon the shrimp mixture onto the toasted bread squares.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- You can add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a little heat.
- For a richer flavor, use unsalted butter.
