Description
A hearty chili with Guinness beer.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 (15 ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 (12 ounce) bottle Guinness beer
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Brown ground beef in a large pot. Drain any fat.
- Add onion, garlic, and bell pepper. Cook until softened.
- Stir in kidney beans, black beans, diced tomatoes, Guinness beer, chili powder, cumin, and smoked paprika.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for at least 30 minutes, or longer for more flavor.
