Description

This recipe features flank steak marinated in lemon and herbs, then grilled and finished with pomegranate molasses.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs flank steak
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp pomegranate molasses
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place the flank steak in a resealable bag or dish and pour the marinade over it.
  3. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or up to 8 hours.
  4. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  5. Remove the steak from the marinade and grill for 3-5 minutes per side, or until desired doneness.
  6. Let the steak rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
  7. Slice the steak against the grain.
  8. Drizzle with pomegranate molasses and garnish with fresh parsley.
