Description
A moist loaf cake with matcha and white chocolate.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup matcha powder
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and matcha powder.
- In a separate bowl, cream together sugar and butter. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk.
- Fold in the white chocolate chips.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use good quality white chocolate.
- You can add a glaze on top.
