Description

Bite-sized skewers featuring fresh mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, and basil, drizzled with a sweet balsamic glaze.

Ingredients

  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 8 ounces fresh mozzarella balls (bocconcini), halved if large
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Wooden skewers

Instructions

  1. Thread a cherry tomato half, a basil leaf, and a mozzarella ball onto each wooden skewer. Repeat if desired for a longer skewer.
  2. Arrange the skewers on a serving platter.
  3. Drizzle the balsamic glaze evenly over the skewers.
  4. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a thicker glaze, simmer balsamic vinegar in a small saucepan over medium-low heat until reduced by half. Let cool before using.
  • You can add a small piece of prosciutto to each skewer for added flavor.
