Description
Bite-sized skewers featuring fresh mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, and basil, drizzled with a sweet balsamic glaze.
Ingredients
- 1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved
- 8 ounces fresh mozzarella balls (bocconcini), halved if large
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
- 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Wooden skewers
Instructions
- Thread a cherry tomato half, a basil leaf, and a mozzarella ball onto each wooden skewer. Repeat if desired for a longer skewer.
- Arrange the skewers on a serving platter.
- Drizzle the balsamic glaze evenly over the skewers.
- Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For a thicker glaze, simmer balsamic vinegar in a small saucepan over medium-low heat until reduced by half. Let cool before using.
- You can add a small piece of prosciutto to each skewer for added flavor.
