Description

Easy and flavorful shrimp skewers with Parmesan and garlic, perfect for grilling or baking.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Wooden or metal skewers

Instructions

  1. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss to coat evenly. Let marinate for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Thread the marinated shrimp onto the prepared skewers.
  5. Grill the skewers over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes per side, or until the shrimp are pink and cooked through. Alternatively, bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add a squeeze of lemon juice just before serving.
  • Ensure shrimp are not overcrowded on the skewers for even cooking.
