Description
A simple pasta dish with salty pancetta, sweet peas, and a creamy sauce.
Ingredients
- 8 ounces pasta
- 4 ounces pancetta, diced
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions.
- While pasta cooks, sauté pancetta in olive oil until crispy.
- Add peas to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
- Drain pasta and add it to the sauce. Toss to combine.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- You can substitute bacon for pancetta.
- Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for heat.
