Description
Homemade dog treats with pumpkin and banana.
Ingredients
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1 ripe banana, mashed
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup peanut butter (xylitol-free)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix pumpkin puree, mashed banana, and eggs.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour and baking soda.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix.
- Stir in the peanut butter.
- Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto a baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes.
- Let the pup cakes cool completely before serving.
Notes
- Store leftover pup cakes in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
- Make sure the peanut butter does not contain xylitol, which is toxic to dogs.
