Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/4 cups buttermilk
- 4 ounces smoked salmon, sliced
- Butter, for spreading
- Fresh dill, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Add buttermilk and stir until just combined.
- Shape the dough into a round and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden.
- Let the bread cool.
- Slice the bread and spread with butter.
- Add smoked salmon and dill.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For best results, use fresh buttermilk.
- You can add other toppings.
