Description

Make delicious sandwiches with smoked salmon and soda bread.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/4 cups buttermilk
  • 4 ounces smoked salmon, sliced
  • Butter, for spreading
  • Fresh dill, chopped (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add buttermilk and stir until just combined.
  4. Shape the dough into a round and place on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden.
  6. Let the bread cool.
  7. Slice the bread and spread with butter.
  8. Add smoked salmon and dill.
  9. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For best results, use fresh buttermilk.
