Description
A refreshing and easy-to-make raspberry lemonade mocktail, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh raspberries
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 cup simple syrup (equal parts sugar and water, heated until sugar dissolves, then cooled)
- 2 cups sparkling water or club soda
- Fresh mint sprigs for garnish (optional)
- Lemon slices for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Muddle the fresh raspberries in a pitcher or large bowl.
- Add the fresh lemon juice and simple syrup to the pitcher. Stir well to combine.
- Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve to remove seeds and pulp. Discard the solids.
- Chill the raspberry lemonade base in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- When ready to serve, fill glasses with ice.
- Pour the raspberry lemonade base into each glass, filling about halfway.
- Top with sparkling water or club soda.
- Garnish with fresh mint sprigs and lemon slices, if desired.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of simple syrup to your preferred sweetness.
- For a stronger raspberry flavor, you can add a few drops of raspberry extract.
- This mocktail can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
