Description

Ingredients

  • 8 cups apple cider
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 teaspoon whole cloves
  • 1 teaspoon whole allspice berries
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg


Instructions

  1. Combine apple cider, orange slices, cinnamon sticks, whole cloves, and whole allspice berries in a large pot.
  2. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat.
  3. Reduce heat to low, cover, and let simmer for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  4. Stir in ground nutmeg before serving.
  5. Strain out the solids before serving hot.
