A moist cake with spiced layers, cranberry filling, and caramel drip topping.
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup cranberry sauce
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease two 8-inch cake pans.
- Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a bowl.
- Add butter, eggs, and buttermilk. Beat until smooth.
- Divide batter between pans. Bake 25-30 minutes.
- Cool cakes completely. Spread cranberry sauce between layers.
- Drizzle caramel sauce over the top.
