Description

A fresh salad with strawberries, goat cheese, and a simple vinaigrette.


Ingredients

  • 5 cups mixed greens
  • 1 cup strawberries, sliced
  • 4 ounces goat cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine mixed greens, strawberries, goat cheese, and red onion.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, balsamic vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine.
  4. Sprinkle with walnuts and serve immediately.
