Description
A fresh salad with strawberries, goat cheese, and a simple vinaigrette.
Ingredients
- 5 cups mixed greens
- 1 cup strawberries, sliced
- 4 ounces goat cheese, crumbled
- 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 1 teaspoon honey
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine mixed greens, strawberries, goat cheese, and red onion.
- In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, balsamic vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine.
- Sprinkle with walnuts and serve immediately.
Notes
- You can add grilled chicken or shrimp for extra protein.
