Simple cookies with a strawberry twist.
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup strawberry jam
- Strawberry-flavored kisses
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar.
- Mix in vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Stir in the strawberry jam.
- Roll dough into 1-inch balls.
- Place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes.
- Immediately press a strawberry kiss into the center of each cookie.
