Ingredients
- 1 pound strawberries, sliced

- 1 pound shortcake, cubed
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Combine strawberries and sugar; let stand for 15 minutes.
- Whip heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until stiff.
- Layer shortcake, strawberries, and whipped cream in a trifle dish.
- Repeat layers.
- Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
