Description

A simple and delicious cinnamon roll bake perfect for a holiday morning.


Ingredients

  • 1 (12.7 ounce) package refrigerated cinnamon roll tubes
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)
  • 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. Open the cinnamon roll tubes and separate the rolls. Cut each roll into quarters.
  4. Arrange the cinnamon roll pieces in a single layer in the prepared baking dish.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon until combined.
  6. Pour this mixture evenly over the cinnamon roll pieces.
  7. Sprinkle the chopped pecans over the top, if using.
  8. In another small bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth.
  9. Drizzle this glaze over the cinnamon roll bake.
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  11. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, you can add a pinch of nutmeg to the cinnamon mixture.
  • If you don’t have pecans, walnuts or almonds work well too.
  • The glaze can be adjusted to your sweetness preference by adding more or less powdered sugar.
