Description

A classic Whiskey Sour recipe with a decorative clover garnish.


Ingredients

  • 2 oz Whiskey
  • 1 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 0.75 oz Simple Syrup
  • 1 Egg White (optional)
  • Ice
  • 3 Clover Sprigs, for garnish


Instructions

  1. If using, add egg white to a shaker.
  2. Add whiskey, lemon juice, and simple syrup to the shaker.
  3. Dry shake (without ice) for 15 seconds.
  4. Add ice to the shaker.
  5. Shake vigorously until well-chilled (about 15-20 seconds).
  6. Double strain into a rocks glass filled with ice.
  7. Garnish with 3 clover sprigs.

Notes

  • For a non-alcoholic version, omit the whiskey and add 2 oz of water.
  • Simple syrup can be made by heating equal parts sugar and water until the sugar dissolves.
