Description
A classic Whiskey Sour recipe with a decorative clover garnish.
Ingredients
- 2 oz Whiskey
- 1 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
- 0.75 oz Simple Syrup
- 1 Egg White (optional)
- Ice
- 3 Clover Sprigs, for garnish
Instructions
- If using, add egg white to a shaker.
- Add whiskey, lemon juice, and simple syrup to the shaker.
- Dry shake (without ice) for 15 seconds.
- Add ice to the shaker.
- Shake vigorously until well-chilled (about 15-20 seconds).
- Double strain into a rocks glass filled with ice.
- Garnish with 3 clover sprigs.
Notes
- For a non-alcoholic version, omit the whiskey and add 2 oz of water.
- Simple syrup can be made by heating equal parts sugar and water until the sugar dissolves.
