A simple recipe for homemade white chocolate peppermint bark, perfect for the holidays.
Ingredients
- 1 pound white chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 1/2 cup crushed candy canes
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Melt the white chocolate in a double boiler or in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each.
- Stir in the peppermint extract until well combined.
- Pour the melted white chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it into an even layer, about 1/4 inch thick.
- Immediately sprinkle the crushed candy canes evenly over the melted chocolate.
- Let the bark set at room temperature for about 30 minutes, or until firm.
- Once set, break the bark into pieces.

- For a smoother melt, use high-quality white chocolate.
- Store the bark in an airtight container at room temperature.
