Description

A simple recipe for homemade white chocolate peppermint bark, perfect for the holidays.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound white chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1/2 cup crushed candy canes


Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the white chocolate in a double boiler or in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each.
  3. Stir in the peppermint extract until well combined.
  4. Pour the melted white chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it into an even layer, about 1/4 inch thick.
  5. Immediately sprinkle the crushed candy canes evenly over the melted chocolate.
  6. Let the bark set at room temperature for about 30 minutes, or until firm.
  7. Once set, break the bark into pieces.
