Description
These Frozen Strawberry Blueberry Greek Yogurt Dog Treats are creamy, fruity, naturally sweet frozen snacks made with only three wholesome dog-friendly ingredients. Easy to prepare, no baking required, and perfect for warm weather.
Ingredients
- 8 medium fresh strawberries (about 300 g), hulled
- 3/4 cup fresh blueberries (about 115 g)
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (about 240 g)
Instructions
- Wash the strawberries and blueberries thoroughly. Remove the strawberry tops and pat the fruit dry.
- Blend the strawberries until smooth.
- Add the plain Greek yogurt and blend until creamy.
- Blend the blueberries into the mixture for a smooth treat, or stir them in by hand or place whole blueberries into each mold for texture.
- Spoon or pour the mixture into silicone molds or an ice cube tray.
- Tap the molds gently to remove air bubbles.
- Freeze for 3–4 hours or overnight until completely solid.
- Remove the treats from the molds and store in a freezer-safe container.
- Serve one frozen treat as an occasional snack for your dog.
Notes
Always use plain unsweetened Greek yogurt with no xylitol or artificial sweeteners. Store frozen treats in an airtight container for up to 2 months. Introduce dairy gradually if your dog has never had yogurt before, and supervise while enjoying frozen treats.
