Description

Make your own beef dog chew sticks at home.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds beef, such as round steak or flank steak
  • Optional: dog-safe seasonings


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°F (93°C).
  2. Trim excess fat from the beef.
  3. Cut the beef into strips, about 1/2 inch thick and 6-8 inches long.
  4. If using, sprinkle the strips with dog-safe seasonings.
  5. Place the beef strips on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 3-4 hours, or until the chews are hard and dry.
  7. Let the chews cool completely before giving them to your dog.
  8. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
