Description
Make your own beef dog chew sticks at home.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds beef, such as round steak or flank steak
- Optional: dog-safe seasonings
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 200°F (93°C).
- Trim excess fat from the beef.
- Cut the beef into strips, about 1/2 inch thick and 6-8 inches long.
- If using, sprinkle the strips with dog-safe seasonings.
- Place the beef strips on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 3-4 hours, or until the chews are hard and dry.
- Let the chews cool completely before giving them to your dog.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.

- Always supervise your dog when they are eating chew sticks.
- Adjust the baking time depending on the thickness of the beef strips.
