These Yogurt Blueberry Frozen Dog Drops are creamy, refreshing, and healthy homemade dog treats made with plain yogurt and blueberries. Perfect for hot summer days, these frozen treats are easy to make, require no baking, and are packed with dog-friendly ingredients your pup will love.
Ingredients
- 1 cup plain unsweetened yogurt
- 1/2 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
- 1 small banana (optional)
- Optional: xylitol-free peanut butter
- Optional: pumpkin puree
- Optional: strawberries
- Optional: coconut flakes
Instructions
- Wash the blueberries thoroughly if using fresh berries. If using frozen blueberries, allow them to soften slightly before blending.
- Peel the banana if using one.
- Add the yogurt, blueberries, and banana to a blender or food processor.
- Blend until smooth and creamy. Leave small blueberry pieces if desired for texture.
- Place a silicone bone mold on a tray or cutting board.
- Spoon or pour the mixture into each mold cavity.
- Lightly tap the mold on the counter to remove air bubbles.
- Freeze for at least 4–5 hours or overnight until completely solid.
- Pop the frozen treats out of the mold and serve to your dog immediately.
Notes
Always use plain unsweetened yogurt with no xylitol or artificial sweeteners. Store treats in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 months. Serve in moderation and supervise your dog while eating frozen treats.
